    • It has its limitations

At $149.99 (direct), the price is steep for a Bluetooth headset, and given the Motorola Mini Bluetooth Headset H9's limitations, it's something of a surprise. The unit can't match the audio quality of the Aliph Jawbone, but it is certainly a lot smaller. Aside from its tiny size and the high sound quality of incoming calls, the H9 doesn't distinguish itself from other models, particularly in terms of comfort, appearance, and outgoing voice quality.

    • A word from experience on Bluetooth headsets and the Q

      394 days ago | amazon.com

The good news is that Motorola has finally come out with a decent quality headset for the Q; it is the new H800. This headset, while not as good of a fit as some of the others; (my favorite in the comfort and sound areas is the Plantronics 510s which I use all day with my office phone). However, the volume is good, the fit is fairly comfortable; and the drain on the Q's battery is significantly less than non-Motorola headsets I've used. However, what I like about the H800 is that you can power it off simply by squeezing it shut; and when you hit the multi-function button, the microphone extends, the headset powers on and re-connects with the Q in half the time the non-Motorola headsets take simply to connect. If you leave the headset on, it connects to the Q almost instantly.

    • Cool but overpriced

Finally, the H800 is also almost identical to the Jawbone in terms of size, shape and weight. However, as I mentioned earlier, once you go beyond mere looks and delve into the rather more important matter of inbound and outbound sound quality the Jawbone wins the contest by a wide margin with its far superior (rather amazing) noise shield capabilities.

    • Great Sound and Features

I have a tried a lot of bluetooth headsets in my day, but this one really lives up to the quality you want. While I am not a huge fan of the ear clip (not snug), whats most important is that the sound is fantastic. Also, I tested the mic by calling my voice mail, and the small boom really picked up my voice well. It was clear and loud. The vibrate mode is very cool, but I really like the caller ID function. I am not the type to wear a BT headset all the time, so to have it vibrate and show me the caller ID is nice, because I just put it on my ear and hit answer. Great value and a very nice small size. Love this. Would be even better with a different ear clip.

Having a cell phone is pretty much a given for most mobile professionals and there are times when driving that you may have to receive or make a phone call and there is no better way than if you can do it handsfree. The V12 LCD Bluetooth Headset from BlueAnt lets you do exactly that in a safe and easy fashion. You don't have to scramble to push buttons on your phone or take your eyes off the road. The V12 LCD Bluetooth Headset from BlueAnt is a very useful mobile accessory as you can use it with other Bluetooth capable devices as well.
