I've had the 719 for about three months now, and I'm pleased with it. Fan noise is quite low, expecially in the Eco mode. I use it for DVDs, HDTV (local HD channels), and occasionally with my laptop. One feature I liked in the specs was the 1.93:1 lens, which allows me to get almost a 60" wide picture with just the 110" throw in my library. Most others in this price range have 1.2:1. The case is plastic, so I probably wouldn't select this projector for business travel use. For television viewing, it is bright enough to be used in my location without completely pulling the blinds; with movies, you will need to darken the room to see the full range of color/contrast. I expect that's true of all projectors.

The EP719 is a very small, very bright XGA projector. Nearly nonexistent fan noise and monitor loop-through make it ideal for mobile presentation or classroom use. And at street prices around $1000, the EP719 is a bargain that you shouldn't miss.

Optoma 719 was a decent DLP projector that is a good choice for those with the setup that can handle the longer throw distance (vs. LCD) and who are looking for general purpose projector. If you are a hard-core movie buff or simply have money to burn then by all means purchase a higher end DLP or LCD projector. At then end of the day for me the best choice was the Epson 76c since I got exactly what I was looking for with no changes to my existing mounting setup!

A very solid medium-format printer with a couple of quirks

-
I LOVE this printer! This is the third Epson printer that I've owned and all have preformed well but this one far exceeded my expections. The ICC profiles that I downloaded from Epson for use with Photoshop and the use of Epson paper have made all my photographs pop, so much so that I want to reprint them all.

-
Although I gave a 5 star rating to this printer, based on its superior output, the caveat still remains about its excessive ink consumption if turned off and on frequently. I do not hesitate to recommend this printer to any savvy photographer, though a beginner is likely to face a rather steep, but worthwhile and not impossible learning curve.

The Epson Stylus Photo R1800 can print true photo-quality output at sizes up to 13 by 44 inches, making it an attractive choice for serious photographers. It can also print on CDs and DVDs and from business applications well enough to serve as an all-purpose printer.

Those of you looking for a leap forward in gameplay mechanics won't find it here, but fans of C&C and fast action RTS games will likely find this return to roots very appealing for its pace and traditional play. While we were hoping for a little more creativity, we couldn't help but have fun through the game's long GDI and Nod campaigns and shorter Scrin campaign. The skirmish was also a good ride even with some of the balancing issues in play. If you're looking for a game that makes it fun as hell to blow things up and leave quickly, C&C 3 is definitely for you.

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars is one of the finest examples of traditional real-time strategy we?ve seen to date. Sure, the game lacks the innovation and complexity of some other contemporary RTS offerings, but what it does, it does superbly well. Command & Conquer is back baby!

Tiberium Wars isn?t massive scale combat. It?s not choosing your own battles. It?s not incredibly in-depth research trees or branching storylines. What it is, is old-school strategy gaming in its most perfectly balanced and presented form. The view is zoomed in even closer than is normal for the C&C series so that the focus is more on small skirmishes than nationwide conflict and the units are all slightly updated as prettier versions of their older models. This means the game plays as well as it always did while at the same time feeling more up close and personal than ever.
