Top of my wish list
On the whole, the Xacti E1 just jumped to the top of my wish list, even above the iPhone.

Great video camera!
This is not your average camcorder. We recently purchased a new Canon Digital Rebel XT 8MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 Lens (Black) to replace our old point and shoot and realized that we missed the "Video" features of the point and shoot. We have owned an older Canon camcorder but really hate lugging around tapes and getting the video to the computer is not fun. So we purchased the Sanyo Xacti VPC-E1 and have been very impressed. I have never seen such a small lightweight waterproof camera anywhere. If you are looking for a great easy to use camcorder and you aren't worried as much about video quality, the Xacti VPC-E1 is the way to go.

Not highly recommended
If underwater YouTubing were a market segment, the Sanyo Xacti VPC-E1 would be the camera to get. But the awkward design and slow performance make it hard to recommend for landlubbers.

Best reception out of all current phones
The signal strength on this phones beats any other phone in the sprint line up. True there is no camera or MP3 player but if all you need is a really good phone this is it.

Great for those who need tough phone for outdoors
The Sanyo SCP-7050 makes up for its lackluster appearance with a durable design, built-in GPS, and Ready Link support. The SCP-7050 would be great for those who need a tough phone for the rough outdoors.

It is tough and sounds good
The Sanyo 7050 is tough, and sounds good. But it costs a lot for what you get, making it a bit of a luxury.

Good choice for business users
Despite some drawbacks, the Sanyo SCP-7050 is a good choice for business users who are hard on their phones, as well as for outdoorsy types. Getting built-in GPS in a rugged package for $150 is a good deal, and the phone and Web functionality are plenty good for general use.

Competitive zoom, good software package
0 out of 1 users found this review usefulThe Sanyo Xacti VPC-CA6 is a stylish piece of kit, but there are much better alternatives for the same price

Well built, lightweight and takes excellent video
0 out of 1 users found this review usefulI do accept that there are camcorders and digital cameras of higher spec out there (I've owned them!) - however, I'm in love with this device! I was going to use it as a compliment to my my camcorder and my digital cameras - however, it has replaced them all! It's well built, it has a good battery life, it handles well and the pictures are great. If I were to be an absolute fuss-pot I would have to say that I am still searching for the best case for the camera (it doesn't come with one) and the anti-shake mechanism could be slightly better.

I recommend this camera
0 out of 1 users found this review usefulI recommend this camera to anyone looking for an easy fast camcorder to catch quick shots but not get stuck behind the viewfinder for too long. Probably not well suited for taping a wedding ceremony, where quality is paramount, but it would be killer at the reception for catching off-the-cuff moments.
