    • I love it!

Fantastic product. I wish I had that years ago. Scan your business cards with the scanner into the software and then, you export all the cards into outlook.or email anybody I want to! I used to have a Rolodex but it seems that I have too many cards, not enough filing time and they ended up in my drawer...This is just very helpful stuffs.

    • Unbelievable!

I zipped through 100 business cards into the scanner and they are now in my outlook contact folder. I like it, it’s made for users like me who are not so computer savvy. You scan the cards, choose to export the cards to Outlook and click “Export. How simpler can it get.

    • Works great - couple things to know...

      saved by monica | amazon.com

I have a Mac G4 laptop running 10.4.8. From opening the box to having 20 cards well scanned was only about 20 mins. 2 things to be aware of: First, you cannot scan the back of a card (other than making it a separate entry in the database). If you are like me and constantly jot info on the back - you will need to enter that text by hand into the notes field. Second, it cannot recognize 'reversed' text (white text on a dark back ground). Even very clear, sharp, large text is completely lost. Of my 20 cards, 2 had reversed text, and I had to enter those in by hand. All in all, the recognition was very very good. Lots of smarts there. The product configured easily and worked as it should. The interface is a bit goofy - but not too bad. I thing this is a good purchase.

    • Little expensive

A little more expensive than some models but it's worked well for me. I've scanned just over 500 cards and found the OCR about 90% accurate [most of the problems have come from cutesy business cards with weird fonts - - not the scanners fault]. I've been able to easily exchange data with both Lotus Notes and MS Outlook.

    • Handy gadget

It's a nice enough unit, small and powered by a USB cord but the ability to scan is manual which means human error can often mar the details recorded. Aside from that it's a nice little gadget, albeit a little expensive at over £150 and would come in handy for anyone who wants to do something about that pile of cards, ever growing on their desk.

    • Best Idea!

This is an absolute must. Easily organizes and put the items into catagories. It even knows the vendors. This thing is amazing. It knows where to put the information into the desinated fields. I only had to add a few of my vendors to it's list. It even knew some of the vendors without barcodes....Absolute a must buy item!

    • Fast and High-resolution scanning

      saved by rachel | geardiary.com

What I Like: Fast and High-resolution scanning; Compact size and USB connector; Multi-purpose use (business cards, documents, receipts); Variety of report options; Reduces data entry; Paperless account of expenses; Compiles sales tax to deduct on your taxes. What Needs Improvement: OCR does not always read receipts; Not compatible with Vista, Windows 98, or Windows ME; Slow initial start-up, due to MSDE; Ability to feed multiple documents.
