Absolutely recommend this TV
0 out of 1 users found this review usefulI would absolutely recommend this TV. I did a great deal of research and this model was absolutely the best combination of performance and cost when compared to the Sony models. The 1080i option is definitely worth it as is the higher 10000:1 contrast ratio. I compared this model to the Sony equivalent in the store in side by side settings and the Samsung had a more 3D look where the Sony had a more picture frame look. The setup is fairly straight forward. The only thing I still do not understand is what is the best way to "stretch" the picture to fully fill the screen when viewing the HD vs. non-HD channels. I am hoping the HDMI cable will do this automatically. The audio is very good, it has a nice, full sound.

THE DIFFERENCE IS AMAZING
Best LCD available for picture quality. The picture settings were perfect right out of the box. A few minor flavor adjustments and I can't take my eyes of the screen. If you're considering a new 1080P set, check out Samsung's 46" LN-T4661F. Take time to compare, the difference is amazing.

Makes a solid choice for anti glare
Overall, the Samsung LNT4661F came close to the picture quality of its slightly more expensive brother, the LN-T4665F. If you’re stuck with a bright room or simply don’t want to contend with the glare from the 65F’s screen, the Samsung LN-T4661F makes a solid choice.

Although not quite the best of its breed, the Samsung LN-T4661F delivers very good picture quality with plenty of style and functionality.

Nice TV
1 out of 1 users found this review usefulNice looking TV, awesome picture. Very easy to use. Don't like the on/off buttons on the top of the TV - very difficult to change settings without the remote. I also bought the 32" Olevia for our bedroom. It cost $275 less and I like it as much if not more...

Decided to replace my LC-32D41U with this TV
I was going to give it only 4 stars because of the dynamic contrast "feature", but since I didn't find it very bothersome, it didn't warrant the 1 less star.

It outperforms most of the low buck LCDs
All things considered, the Sharp LC-32D43U outperformed most of the low-buck LCDs we’ve tested and was competitive with the well-reviewed Samsung LN-T3253H in most areas of picture quality. It evinced relatively deep black levels and more accurate color than many Sharp TVs we’ve tested,.

Great TV for the price
This LCD TV is amazing and much better than most of the other brands higher priced models. Look at the picture on similar sized LCD TVs you'll see this is well worth the money.

-
Overall picture quality makes it the best LCD of its size
Although it has a couple of weaknesses, the overall picture quality of the Sharp LC-32D43U puts it among the best LCDs of its size.

Narrow package, didn't burn down my house.
Fifty dollars just to look at it! This gets applied to the final repair charge, but they want the money upfront before they'll even give you an RMA number! Can't believe they won't stand behind this product. We literally used this set 2 to 3 times a week for a few hours at a time for 4 months. So after 96 hours of use, it is no longer functional. Pitiful...
