This exceeded our expectations. After looking at all kinds of TV's from Plasma, LCD and DLP we chose the DLP and are very pleased with our choice. Perfect fit and great resolution, color, and quality. Packaged extremely well.

We were amazed by the quality of the product, awesome picture, and excellent reception. Picture quality is better than LCD projection. We use a regular antenna for both SD and HD in-the-air program. The antenna was from Terk w/o amplifier or tuner. We are happy with this TV.

Great tv. The dlp's are so light compared to my old big screen. One thing I have noticed is that the hd reciver changes channels twice as fast if not more than my friends hd tv's. You don't have to wait as long for the new channel to come up, it's there in 2 secounds. Regular cable tv looks great but the local hd stations i pick up with a cheep best buy antenna look amazing.

If you are shopping for a big-screen HDTV but don't have the budget for a plasma or a 55-inch rear-projection set, the Samsung HL-S4266W is a smart alternative. This 42-inch DLP model is an excellent compromise of size, technology and price.

The HDTV digital tuner built into the TV has very good reception. If your looking for a HDTV for fast action sports & movies & not breaking the bank this TV is for you!

This Samsung TV is simply amazing. I could not be happier with the picture clarity and color, features, inputs and sleek styling. I did a lot of research on DLP, LCD and Plasma. Finally, the 1080P is state-of-the-art, which means this TV will not be obsolete when transmissions are upgraded to that standard.

Superb DLP-TV with sleek, simplistic lines. Samsung has created a stylistic set with no wasted bulk or add-ons to detract from the picture viewing (which is really why you're buying the set). The TV has more than adequate inputs, including dual HDMI, dual component video, & dual AV. Also included are USB, RS232C, & serial port computer monitor inputs. The quality of a TV show viewed in HD is truly breathtaking and when 1080p becomes more readily available, this set is fully capable of taking you to that next level of viewing splendor.

The TV has a very nice looking cabinet with hidden speakers. The speakers do not add or detract from the TV both visually or sonically. The remote is basic but provides easy access to key features of your TV. The menus are easy to navigate. One issue we have with the TV is that you can not get to an input directly. The source button toggles through the inputs that have something connected to them. You can label each input with DVD, DVR, etc so its easy to find the input you are looking for.

The new design looks great and when watching a movie in a darkened room the TV just blends into the background, no speakers hanging from the side or the 'floating' design Samsung had on last years model. Very pleasing to the eye. The sound is pretty good. I'm kind of spoiled in that I mostly listen to this through a home theater setup which is the best way to listen since DVDs and most HD channels broadcast in Dolby 5.1.
