I bought this camera for one specific purpose: a cheap point n shoot that has a very high megapixel count for printing out poster-sized prints. It fulfills this function very well. It has the added bonuses of being extremely easy to use (others in my family can take good pics with it) & its 5x optical zoom is great for amateur wildlife photography when I don't feel like lugging an SLR w/ lens around. I'd only recommend this to people looking to be able to take high-res pictures and/or have 5x optical zoom in a relatively inexpensive camera - but it performs these tasks very well.

Pros: This thing takes great pictures in auto mode. It recognizes faces well and will even go into macro mode automatically. Kodak has always made good digital cameras and this one is no exception!

Bought this for my parents who have never used a digital camera so ease of use was of primary concern. From that perspective it's a home run. It is much more intuitive than the other digital cameras I have owned/used. Low-light usage is (predictably) not as good as my D-SLR (forget the 8000 ISO from a practical standpoint, but at 800 it performs well). Shutter lag is on par or better than other Point-and-shoots I've used (hardly noticeable). Supports about 15 or so languages.

The Kodak EasyShare Z885 Digital Camera makes it possible to print bright and detailed photos. It also contains a 6.4 color display that allows the photographer to view the pictures clearly whether indoors or out. In addition, the auto picture rotation feature allows the photographer to view the photos all right-side-up, whether the photo is shot horizontally or vertically. When viewed in review mode, the photos may also be magnified up to 8x and the camera has a fast scroll option.

While it suffers at higher ISO sensitivity settings, the Kodak EasyShare Z885 is a surprisingly flexible, affordable camera.

The Nikon Coolpix S200 is an appealing ultra-compact model, with easy to use features, good image quality and performance, all packaged in a very compact and stylish shell. With a street price of US$249 or less, the S200 offers a good value for such a capable little digicam. Therefore, if you're one who is on the market for a camera that can be tucked away almost anywhere and shoots nice photos without much fuss, be sure to take a good look a this model.

I bought one from Costco and already returned it after one week. 50% of the pictures taken outdoor were blurred, maybe from handshake. The VR is probably not effective per Hiram's review. Otherwise, it is pretty nice and solid camera. The video quality is pretty good. Interface is good. I just found out another colleague had bought one too and he is complaining about the blurred image issue. I am now considering the Nikon S50.

A disappointing compact camera from Nikon, the Coolpix S200 has numerous imaging issues which mean that it's smooth, stylish design isn't enough to make it an attractive option.

Surprisingly-good quality from such a small camera. Easy to use although lacking in manual control.

The S200 has some interesting features and produces some good results as a point and click camera. It is also stylishly designed and compact enough to take just about anywhere. Colour renditions are generally every accurate, and the macro mode produces some good results. Overall, a good quality camera with a good value and affordable price tag.
