I have no trouble taking pictures with this camera at all,I also have a 2 year old cannon that is much more complicated.this 6300 takes great pictures if you read the manual and know anything about camera settings.as to the other reviewer I would suspect that they either have a defective camera or have the wrong settings.This 6300 recycles fast when taking flash pictures,and for the price it is hard to beat!!!

I bought 2 Vivicam Vivitar digital cameras, one for each of my children. Both of them had no trouble getting acquainted with the cameras and were quickly charging them and then using them. So far we have experienced no problems at all and they both use them daily. My middle-schooler carries her around with her constantly. If there is anything I could say needs improvement, it would be the cases for the cameras. Though adequate, they are thin and don't provide a lot of protection. But the cameras are all I had hoped for.

This camera was a big dissapointment to me on Christmas I had to go to a convenance store and buy a disposable 35mm just to take my X-mas pics. Every pic I took was blurry even though I tried every setting on the camera. My suggestion is to go on line and see what other people have to say about this and every other camera. I broke my cardinal rule and didnt! I seen the cheap price and well known brand name and bought it, and now i have to waste my time and gas to return it. Sorry Vivitar get on the stick and make a product as good as your name. I will never buy another Vivitar again because of this. As I said in the (Con) section my 3.1 took better Pictures then this one even though it was a off brand cheap one.

Its was a good product for what I paid it was for my sister and she used it, so it was fine, not like my other one but this one was good, just wish there was a bigger screen im use to a 3 in LCD
