    • ViewSonic PJ258D Review by LAPTOP Magazine

      saved by jane | laptopmag.com

Despite some flaws, the ViewSonic PJ258D is a groundbreaking entertainment projector that also happens to offer an enviable combination of power, portability, and price. And its three-year warranty (with one year on the lamp) is one of the best in the industry. Still, its rough edges might cause some to wait for the sequel.

    • Marantz Projector Reviews - AVREV

      saved by monica | avrev.com

The VP-11 builds upon the VP-12 series, using its rigid, noise-deadening cast-aluminum chassis (which can use the same ceiling mount as the VP-12S4) and 200-watt DC super high pressure, 2,000-hour lamp. The processor is the 10-bit Gennum VXP 9351, the next generation of the VXP 9350 processor used in the VP-12S4. The VP-11S1 continues the Marantz tradition of utilizing custom optics by Konica-Minolta. The VP-11S1 has two lens options, each with a wider zoom range than the VP-12 lenses, so that the VP-11S1 can cover a similar zoom range with two lenses, rather than three.

    • Ultimate AV: Marantz VP-11S1 Single-chip DLP Projector

      saved by monica | ultimateavmag.com

In terms of looks, designs and features, the VP-11S1 has much in common with the VP-12S4, along with a few significant departures I'll enumerate. First, and most obvious, the 11S1 looks exactly like the S4 on the outside. The 11S1 has two HD-compatible component video inputs, and more importantly, two HDMI inputs. Marantz has also moderated the projector's light output, changing its f5 iris setting to a more aggressive f6 (the more open f3 setting is retained as well and subjectively seems to have a little more horsepower).

    • Marantz VP11S1 Review

      saved by monica | reviews.cnet.com

The good: Produces an extremely sharp and well-defined picture; accurate color decoding; very flexible in setup; excellent feature package including blanking. The bottom line: The Marantz VP11S1 is currently the best 1080p one-chip DLP projector on the market, but it does come at a premium price point.

    • InFocus IN76 Review

      saved by rachel | reviews.cnet.com

The good: Relatively inexpensive; excellent connectivity with both DVI and HDMI inputs; solid color decoding, clean video processing with 2:3 pull-down. The bottom line: The InFocus IN76 has an excellent feature package, and its solid performance makes it one of the top values among HD-resolution DLP projectors.

    • Review: InFocus IN76 - PC Magazine

      saved by rachel | pcmag.co.uk

Getting the IN76 ready for action is straightforward considering what a sophisticated projector it is. The remote control, for instance, is backlit and well laid out. The most immediate impact of its classy pictures comes from their sheer clarity. There is practically no sign of any sort of video noise anywhere. If you’re looking for a top-class movie projector that punches absolutely miles above its price weight, your bucks should stop here.

    • AV Science - Reviews - InFocus IN76D

      saved by rachel | avscience.com

All in all I am impressed with the unit. It offers a lot of bang-for-the-buck. Its strong points are the bright image, small and sleek case design, multiple input flexibility, and clean image.

    • InFocus IN76 Play Big DLP Projector First Look

      saved by rachel | audioholics.com

In addition to the HDMI and M1DA inputs the IN76 has component, s-video, and composite video connectors, making it compatible with just about any video source you want to throw at it. InFocus has also thoughtfully added a serial control port and a 12 volt trigger. In terms of brightness, the IN76 falls into the “brighter than average category. For those who are sensitive to DLP rainbows, the IN76 exhibited very little in the way of rainbow artifacts.

    • Review: InFocus Play Big IN76

      saved by rachel | projectorcentral.com

The InFocus Play Big IN76 is an impressive new competitive entry in the 720p class of home theater projectors. It produces a big, bright, engaging image, it has two digital inputs instead of one like many of its competition, and its casework styling has much more consumer appeal than previous generations of InFocus products. To top it off, it takes 1080p/24 as well as 1080p/50/60, which makes it a viable choice for post production houses as well as consumer use.

    • InFocus Play Big IN76 Projector Review

      saved by rachel | projectorreviews.com

Stunning! Without a doubt, the IN76 is as good a looking projector as you will find. It is interesting to note up front, that InFocus chose the 1280x720 resolution Darkchip2 DLP chip to power the IN76. The lens is a zoom with an 1.3:1 zoom ratio, providing a little more placement versatility than most DLP projectors in its class, which typically have 1.2:1 zooms. The throw ratio, is best described as medium.
