    • Masi Bianco De Garganega E Sauvignon Serego Alighieri Possessioni Bianco Veneto Igt 750ml

Possessioni Bianco Serego Alighieri is a modern style wine, inspired by the traditional, although limited, production of white wine in Valpolicella. It combines the characteristic aromas of the Sauvignon grape, the refinement in wood, and the typical delicately fruit taste and long finish of the Garganega. It is dry and smooth, mellow and appealing, with good structure and persistence. With the time it acquires greater complexity and, with just a little bottle-age, the characteristic spiciness of the Sauvignon is more evident. . ORIGIN: Vineyards in Gargagnago di Sant ’ Ambrogio di Valpolicella. The vineyards belong to the Serego Alighieri family, (the oldest in the area), direct descendants of the poet Dante. Since 1353, when Dante ’ s son, Pietro, purchased the property in Gargagnago, the family has farmed the same vineyards over an uninterrupted span of twenty generations, and has left its mark on Verona ’ s vinicultural history. The vineyards are in the southernmost part of the estate, towards the Adige rive
