The most important CD-P1440 features include center-mounted disc drive mechanism, 16-bit D/A converter, and high-resolution 3-beam laser pickup. CD-P1440 has a variable pitch control, auto Cue with LED indicator, multi-function 8-digit FL display, time display (total/elapsed/remaining), and music calendar. This compact disc player provides a variety of playing options, including intro check and shuffle play, 32-selection random memory programming, 4-way repeat (one/all/program/a-b), and music skip/search functions. CD-P1440 is equipped with headphone jack and output level control, Teac UR (Unified Remote) control is also included.
