It's designed for smaller spaces such as apartments that don't have room for a full surround set-up, or for those who don't have the inclination to run cables through their living rooms. It's certainly compact and is shaped to sit neatly below a large plasma or LCD TV. The iPod dock is excellent and goes beyond a token inclusion. It's fully integrated so you can control your iPod menu directly from the SoundBar remote and TV screen. What you get for your money, though, is an excellent piece of home entertainment hardware that won't require you to arrange your living room around it.
