I started testing Office 2007 in July of 2006 (may have been August) when the first beta was available and upgraded to the Technical Refresh when it was released. I've used it in Windows XP and Windows Vista. As should be expected, it looks and functions the same in both operating systems. One thing to note is that I haven't experienced any of the problems with office being slow. The beta testing version c rashed on my only once in Powerpoint, but I've not had any problems since the Technical Refresh, and none in the official release version. It did, however, take a few minutes to adjust myself to the new ribbon. My main complaint with earlier versions of Microsoft Office, as well as Open Office, is the number of clicks that it takes to perform a simple task like changing the line spacing, or margins. Office 2007 shows us that it really can be simple. The ribbon is great because it is fairly easy to find a feature or task based on the tab and group that it is in.
