    • Dell Axim ™ X51v Pocket PC



      Two steps forward, one step back is still a step forward. Dell's new Axim X51v PDA is physically a very close relative of their existing X50v but runs the new Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system. The X51v has more memory and includes some more powerful features, but unfortunately its benchmark-test performance lags a bit.

    • A lot of little improvements to the X50v makes this a better value...


      Pros: Price, Features, Style, Memory and Battery Life Improvements
      Cons: Some Bugs, Incompatibility with some programs at Windows Mobile 2005

    • Just a few simple updates and boom problem free


      Before I go on you MUST perform the activesync fix which is detailed at the aximforum website, once that fix is done the dissapearing CF card, the white screen of death, battery drain, random restarts all go away. And Rom A06 was shipped with mine.

      As always, Dell offers an excellent machine at a relatively low price. The unit runs the fastest CPU and has a VGA display which wills suite power users. It offers excellent expandability, dual wireless and lots of memory for storage. Your data is safe even if the battery runs down. Not only that, it's attractive and feels good in the hand. Overall, a very good device... attractive and ergonomic design, good price, VGA display, fast processor, both CF and SD slots with SDIO support for the SD slot, Bluetooth 1.2, WiFi 802.11b and VPN support...
