Six months out and it's dead.

I bought the console on February 25th and it's already toast, probably literally if I bothered to rip open the cover. But since I'm sure that would violate my useless warranty and it will cost Microsoft's $[... ] "post three month" repair service, I won't do it. The heat that blew out the back was always frightening and the room smelled of really warm electronics for several weeks when I first bought it.
