The SuperStack II NETBuilder 421 boundary router comes with 1 Ethernet port, 1 RS-232 WAN port, and 1 ISDN BRI WAN port. This router requires a NETBuilder II platform at a central location. Supported WAN protocols include PPP, Frame Relay, and X.25. Routing protocol support (in conjunction with the central router) includes IP, IPX, XNS, OSI, AppleTalk, DECnet, and Vines. This router is part of 3Coms complete family of SuperStack NETBuilder platforms. These remote access products offer extensive upgradability and the choice of routing in SuperStack platforms or stand-alone configurations.
