Bollywood Calling

The Indian film industry pokes fun at itself in the hilarious satire BOLLYWOOD CALLING. Pat (Pat Cusick) is an out-of-work American B-movie star who agrees to travel to Bombay to make a Bollywood musical. Culture-clash hijinks follow, as the fish-out-of-water Pat encounters the idiosyncrasies of the Bollywood movie system, the peculiar habits of his eccentric director, Subramaniam (Om Puri), and the aging-diva antics of his costar, Manu (Navin Nishol). This warmhearted satire features a cameo by Indian director Mira Nair (KAMA SUTRA, MONSOON WEDDING).
