Uniden BC898T Base Scanner

The Uniden ® BC-898T scanner offers 12 bands including aircraft and 800MHz, a clock/alarm, AM/FM radio, 20 presets, and S.A.M.E. (Specific Area Message Encoding) alert for local weather. Additional features include a preprogrammed service search, a programmable search, channel lockout, 1-touch weather, auto squelch, and data skip.

Factory Defect It doesn't hold it's mode

I bought one programmed it. This is my 4th Trunk Traker so I now my area system and uniden scanners inside and out. I set it to track trunks and left it on. The next morning it was doing a conventional scan. It just can't track trunk for a long period of time which makes it useless for recording. Or anything else for that matter. Uniden makes great stuff but this model just got goofed up.
