A couple of niggling issues: typically, the earbuds that came with it aren't the best quality. I immediately bought a pair of Sony sweat-resistant sports buds for running and the gym; and a pair of Shure noise-reducing buds for the rest of the time. Also, playlists that I edit on my computer don't seem to upload properly. There are workarounds for this, but they're a pain. Sandisk is aware of that problem and I'm hoping for a fix in the next firmware upgrade

It has more features than the iPod and is less money

There are so many MP3 players on the market. The ipod is the most popular. But after reviewing comparable MP3 players I felt that the Sansa product was a better value. I know a few people who have both the Ipod and SanDisk and everyone is happy with their products, which is good. However, I feel that consumers are paying a premium for the Ipod image. I look forward to buying another SanDisk for my girlfriend very soon.

I am very pleased with my Sansa e280. It is easy to use and is of high quality. The radio works better than I had expected it to. It is easy to download songs onto it and also to delete songs from it. I would recommend it to anyone.

The Sansa e280 is my favorite MP3 player to date. I find the mid-sized format perfect: small enough to drop in your pocket yet not so small that it feels flimsy. It is easy to use, has excellent battery life and sound quality, and the video and photo features are very usable. While I don't know that I'll use the FM radio much it works really well and the voice recorder is a useful additional feature. When combined with the inMotion im510 the Sansa becomes a really good in-room music system.
