Anne McCaffrey - Freedom's Challenge

Taken from Earth by their alien captors, the colonists of Botany have finally built a new society. From other captives deposited on their new planet, they learn that resistance is not dead on Earth or on other conquered worlds. Now that they have scavenged enough technology from their captors, the colonists decide that they must join the fight and make the long trip back to Earth.
