Like most everyone else in these forums, I'm fairly happy with my SlingBox. Very easy to set-up, although two things annoy me.

The good: Streams sources to any broadband-connected Mac, Windows PC or Windows Mobile device in the world; accepts HD video (with optional dongle); can accept as many as four A/V inputs (composite, S-Video, RF, and component); no host PC or monthly charges required; simple, straightforward setup; excellent, easy-to-use software; controls almost all cable and satellite boxes and DVRs; excellent video quality over LAN, decent video quality via the Internet. The bottom line: While its ability to accept multiple sources and optional HD is overkill for most users, the more-expensive Slingbox Pro makes sense for hardcore Slingers with gobs of video gear.

Coming from the slingbox classic version. I can see definite picture quality improvement in both the SlingPlayer and Slingplayer Mobile software. The new "SlingStream" technology customizes the video stream for optimal picture quality no matter the device or network conditions. I would recommend this product to everyone I know!

The Slingbox Tuner is geared towards those who wish to watch their basic cable programming on a PC or mobile device. The Tuner works by connecting your cable TV connection into the back of the Tuner Sligbox. The Tuner lets you control the channels you are watching and comes with a splitter in case you are sharing your cable outlet with a television or cable modem.
