Championship Bass for PlayStation 1
The world of competitive fishing comes to the PlayStation with Electronic Arts's CHAMPIONSHIP BASS. There are several different ways to play: Bass Challenge offers 15 scenarios that will improve and challenge your fishing technique, or you can take on challengers in the Tournament and Career modes. If the competition stresses you out, take a trip to one of the six lakes for a relaxing afternoon of fishing. Since all of the lakes have full access, you will always be able to find the perfect fishing spot. No matter how you choose to play, you'll never miss a second of the action thanks to unique above- and below-water camera angles. Electronic Arts takes fishing to new levels with CHAMPIONSHIP BASS.

Pros: Excellent graphics. Realistic fish fights and movements. True to life lure action
Cons: Too easy. Unrealistic viewpoint. Has an & quot;Extreme Sports & quot; feel to it.
I have always been a passionate fisherman. Ever since I was knee high to a grasshopper you could not keep me away from a rod and reel and the beach. When on holidays at our beach house in Mandurah, Australia I would be out first thing every morning...

GREAT game for all ages....
If my 65 year-old Dad who never plays Playstation can catch lunker sized bass, you can too. I LOVE this game. The underwater view allows you to really learn how to make lures look real, and use rod action to attract and catch bass (small and largemouth), bluegill, and catfish. You can set out on 4 different lakes (3 + one hidden) in career, tournament, and fishing trip modes, or see just how good you are in any of the 13+ challenge levels. If you've NEVER tried a fishing game before, this is a great title to get you started.
