Toshiba 42HP66 42
The Toshiba 42HP66 is a 42-inch, plasma television. Compared to other plasma TVs on the market, it is relatively inexpensive. In general, a liquid plasma display can provide more realistic black-levels than an LCD display can. Has a rear and front connector location, which is somewhat more favorable than some similarly priced TVs. Also, this TV has an 8000:1 contrast ratio. This is higher than the average TV on the market today, but is to be expected for a TV of this price.

Toshiba 42HP66 from Professional sites
Toshiba Plasma is the way to go!! It has a strong audio-video system. The image and sound quality will leave you absolutely speechless. It has 2 HDMI input slots. It has integrated speakers which makes you feel like you are sitting in a theater. The audio-video system is designed in such a way, that it gives you the best possible image and sound. Its 2HDMI inputs work to its advantage. Plus, it looks good. I'd say that this has definitely been a good buy for me.

Ratings and Reviews - 42HP66 42
This TV is great for watching movies and other things on DVD. However, its use of High Definition channels is very limited. I was only able to receive 2 HD channels via antenna. Of the 2 channels I was able to pick up... one of them was cut off at the sides. This is very disappointing; either you only pick up 2 HD channels or upgrade to very expensive digital cable. Another issue was the time delay when changing channels. Finally, the power consumption on this TV is rated 50% higher than the LCD TV.
