The Canon Elura 90 has the makings of a solid camcorder, with just a few design flaws, and features both upgrades and downgrades in hardware and software compared to last year’s model. The 16:9 mode, the multi focus feature and the increased optical zoom are all excellent upgrades. The removal of the hot accessory shoe and the placement of the menu button and jog dial are both features that may matter to some consumers.
