Pros: Clear, big, easy touch screen.
Cons: Not up to date with street names and locations.
We had been looking at GPS systems for months, and really couldn ' t justify purchasing one, as we rarely venture out of Florida. So when we flew to California, visiting with Len ' s family, we borrowed their Garmin GPS system to get to San Francisco. It...

Bought a unit recently and my brother fell in love with it so I had to give him mine and bought another one. Works flawlessly the first time. Very accurate and will get where you want to go. It may not be the shortest route if you miss a turn, but it will eventually get you to where you want to go!

easy to operate right out of the box. So much so you really only need to know where the on/off button is. Great value for the money.

The c330 features a 3.5-inch (diagonal), 320–by-240 (16-bit) touch screen and a map-laden hard drive. The highly reflective screen was difficult to view in bright sunlight, but looked fine on overcast days and at night, when it automatically changes to a night color scheme. Overall, the c330's navigation was good. In road tests totaling over 700 miles, it made only two clearly identifiable errors, and we discovered that you have a pretty good degree of control over navigation preferences.

When you donot want to spend lot of money on GPS unit then Garmin C330 comes very handy. It's simple, easy to use and won't ruin you! It's so user friendly that you won't even need to read the booklet. The voice is also very clear and I love it when they prepare you in advance by saying things like "keep right" or to prepare to turn in 200 meters. The C330 really brings peace of mind and does so cheaply!

The Garmin StreetPilot C330 has been designed as an all-in-one that is mounted along the driver of a vehicle and unlike PDA-based versions, is not intended to be carried about. It’s ready to use straight from the box as the maps come preloaded. To make things even easier, buttons and controls are kept to a minimum.

The Garmin Streetpilot C330 is a 12-channel, automotive global positioning device. Compared to other automotive GPS receivers on the market, it is relatively inexpensive at around $420.
